,.. Because Astrology is Not Something "Up There" - It is Something "In Here"

moon-mars in tula according to sivanadi

no job since dec 25th 07, practically no interview calls last 7-8 months except on jan 9 which did not materialise, will saturn-ketu in the 11th house help/when and how, how come lost job when jupiter entered 3rd own house sagittarious transit natal sun aspecting saturn/ketu in the 11th trine natal jupiter

running saturn-rahu dasa, got a lift in career in july 07 followed by a fall soon in dec'07 in sani-rahu-ketu dasa, sani-rahu-sukra dasa does not seem to be helping, afraid whether the forthcoming sun/moon/mars dasas will help and will have to wait too long for earnings, what should i do, what can i take up. wife is a teacher and doing extra tutions these days.

had no job literally feb'02 to dec '05, lost sani-sukra-budha dasa, saturn transit ketu in the 8th with jupiter/rahu in the 9th, took 4 years to get a 20 days based assignment in jan'06, otherwise only 45 days earnings over a period of these four years leading to loss of confidence, quarrels in the family, depressed college going children and misalignment with them all feeling i am whiling away my time at home not doing anything, no any response to my biodata across the country/even today again repeating history.

do i now need to try for a job abroad/where-gulf? is this warranted, will that set things right for the future trends, i do not feel confident about myself : with my graduation only qualifications my 33 years of experience has lost the market value although i could rise in life till 1995, later detoriating salary levels.

had short job breaks 94-95, mid 98 too, stable job from 1976-1986/how?, frequent changes almost every 18 months between 1987 and 1994 - jupiter dasa.

shifted to gujarat/bhavnagar soon after birth, in ahmedabad since 1995, started working 1974 alongwith college studies.

what does the future hold for me now, no own house/staying in youngest brother's house last 7-8 yrs since 2000 - will i be able to buy this house from him/whether advisable; daughter to be married/wants to do MBA-not getting a suitable job; son doing BSc entering 3rd year - failed once, not focussed on studies. myself cool at office but hot-tempered at home loosing patience fast.

father mentally ill since 1962 with heavy continuous interruptions in income, mother a dutiful-patient-pious lady, brought up 5 children well handling father and facing his violent tantrums all life - he expired mid 2003; mother with us.

strained relationships with one of the younger brothers/the fourth child - his wife?

interested in astrology - scope for success? feel have not gained any hold all these years; any scope for being a independent consultant/staff trainer/college lecturer/english teacher, i feel do not have partnering/marketing skills.

hope my horoscope and the above personal information would be of interest to the expert analysts - look forward to valuable insights and suggestive course of action under the circumstances, and some ray of soon upcoming hope!

hope there are no pitru/deva/bandhana/shrapit doshas to care for; planets are debilated in the navamsa chart, saturn the karaka for services is in the kanya rashi in D-10 which happens to be the 12th house of exile in the lagna chart. spent much money on remedial measures but normally not found immediately helpful, nor i have the skill and patience to perform, nor money or enough hope.

i get confused between the bhava chalit and cusp based nirayana bhava chalit charts which one is valid in vedic astrology; i understand the bhava chalit is for the purpose of knowing aspects between planets and houses, or not?

kn rao applies arudha/jaimini chara dasas etc!

i do not know if looking at uranus/pluto/neptune could be of help, although not agreeable planets under vedic astrology.

with all regards/shantaramkhrd@yahoo.co.uk

I had a look at your chart, trying to understand what’s giving you difficulties. I thought I’ll tell you what I found – I’m sorry if it doesn’t answer your questions but I hope it’ll help understanding and give you food for thoughts and the desire to learn more astrology!
Let me know what you think.

The stellium of planets in the second shows the importance of family in good (2 in 2) and bad (Ra/Sa in 2) and the resourcefulness of it.
I noticed Jupiter aspects the 5th (children) and the 7th (spouse) and the Sun (career, status, earnings)which is good, being a benefic (even though not such a good one for Libras).
The emphasis on Scorpio is to cause much (emotional) upheavals that need to get worked through in order to learn, I would think.

The axis Ketu in Taurus/Rahu in Scorpio should indicate that the past life was stable (Taurus = earth, 2nd house) as far as material security, so that in this life there’ll be uncertainty in this regard. Success comes only after struggle.
You can view the qualities of Taurus as something that comes easily to you: earthy, fixed, obstinate, stable, accumulating, idealism in love, appreciative of beauty. (maybe you’re artistic?)
You can view the periods of Ketu as giving a spiritualising influence or at least enabling you to put the material world in perspective.
With this axis, the aim is not to be too attached to the material.
This life is to experience the sign of Scorpio: death, destruction, renewal, depth, intensity, passion, obsession, to name a few. There’s a lot of intense energy to work through here and it’s supposed to be quite difficult.
As per house placement the axis Ra in 2/Ke in 8 can give periods of plenty and periods of deprivation, as regards resources. But there should be good legacies and other’s resources available. It can be good for material well-being, the problem often being wanting too much, that is the person gets quite intense about getting what they want, whatever that is. Finding satisfaction with what one has, rather than what one wants is the key here. The balance should be sought also as regards emotions.
Saturn here should give restrictions and grief as regards resources and family. Though it can’t be that bad for Libras (as yogakaraka).
So it seems from the nodal axis that there’s a definite focus on resources.

Other things I found like yogas:

Yupa/sacrificial pillar yoga – all planets in first 4 houses (only one, Ju, is outside) means the capacity to find fulfilment/security/happiness is inside the self, more than through worldly achievements I mean; and the person would be inclined to seek spiritual knowledge. This yoga stressed the importance of inner life and the ability to make sacrifice.

Overall, since there are no malefics in angles and three benefics: Mo in 1st, Venus and Mercury in 4th, life should have unfolded without too much difficulty, meaning you would have gotten support.

Note that the sun is the 11th lord and rules your finances and the Sun is getting good support in your chart along with being well-positioned by sign placement (though weakened in Navamsha by being DB). This, combined with Mars in its own in the 2nd, would means that there’s always money/resources available to you: provided by family (2 in 2) and by the partner (7 in 2) – now there’s Saturn ill-placed there and Rahu ill-placed as well which are causing turbulences. Jupiter is in the 11th, well-placed, (though not a good lord for you) exchanging with lord of 3rd. There should be luck/help from elder siblings, and good possibilities.

Vosi yoga: malefics (Sa, Ju) in 12th from Sun, indicate harships and difficulty in initiating experiences. Mars indicates that it’s through willpower, courage, strong opinions, wilfulness and possible recklessness. As Mars is with Saturn and Rahu, there’s a tendency towards pushiness, forcefulness, demanding tendencies. Saturn indicates though seriousness of approach, determination, calculation, reserve. Note that those planets are debilitated (Mars) and/or ill-placed (Saturn in Leo with Ketu) in the Navamsha, probably indicating problems. Vosi yoga shows how the personality can be perceived, how the person reveals themselves on first encounter.

Vesi yoga or the planets 2nd from Sun. These planets are benefic (Mercury, Venus) and they show good qualities (represented by those planets) that people can see about the person as they grow to know them. Mercury shows fairness and practicality in taking care of things in life, along with a communicative and humorous side. Venus shows that the person enjoys what they get, along with qualities of diplomacy, grace, care. However note that these planets are either debilitated (Mercury) or ill-placed ( Ve in Cancer with Mars) in Navamsha so the qualities of these planets are affected and they would indicate trouble in the person’s ability to take care and benefit of things.

With Sunpha yoga or planets in 2nd from the Moon, ground your Moon, your thoughts & emotions and how you feel and react to the circumstances and experiences of your life. With Mars, it shows through logic but if things are not in conformity with the person’s own ideas and opinions there’s a tendency towards frustration, argumentation – as Mars rules 2nd and 7th and is karaka for (younger) siblings, this would be with family, spouse and younger siblings. With Saturn it shows reactions done with caution, concern and the ability to develop strength and detachment overtime – though Saturn is weakened in Scorpio, so more ready to create psychological/emotional fears. As Saturn rules 4th and 5th, it would shows with the mother and own feelings along with children.

Chandra yoga – 10th lord in trine or angle from Moon indicates feeling in harmony with one’s karma.

Now that’s a yoga giving monetary difficulty/overall difficulty or struggle in life - Daridra yoga: the 8th lord Venus is stronger than the 9th lord Mercury, by placement but also Sadbala. The 11th lord is not in an angle – not combust (it’s the Sun !) but DB in the Navamsha. This yoga can indicate that the person is deprived from what they desire and also a fall of position. So in the dasha/antardasha of these lords difficulties would be experienced.
However there is also this: when lords of 8th and 9th – Venus and Mercury in your case – join or aspect each other, it gives “fame and power” in the dasha of 8th, which would be Mercury, the next dasha after Saturn; or in antardasha of 8th in any other dasha.

an interesting analytical input well attempted integrating navamsa/shadbala developing a life scenario, temperament, rahu/ketu axis etc.

ketu dasas have been painful - major car accident/1999/saturn-ketu, job loss/dec 2007/saturn-rahu-ketu

interested in knowing how time would unfold now in the saturn-rahu dasa ending dec'08 probably in terms of career/earning prospects at the earliest and what direction of efforts are needed, no job since dec 25th.
will i need to wait till saturn-jupiter dasa, saturn aspecting jupiter in the 11th, saturn-jupiter in a square from each other, would things be better. what do i do for the balance six months till saturn-rahu is over - saturn/rahu gave a rise followed by a quick fall, what now.....any hope!

regards/thanks, kshantaram
