make sure to watch it until the end where you see a powerful
Universal Astrology technique introduced related to the "Anchoring
Condition" of the Moon.
I will go deeper into that technique on Tuesdays call as well as
introduce another technique related to "Anchoring Moments".
I came in late to tonight's call, but I am grateful I got there. Before tonight I could "string a sentence" or "write an outline" when it came to looking at a chart. After I have had a chance to digest the structure that Sam so energetically shares, I feel like I will be able to move along quite rapidly in my understanding of the "story." Thank you so much.
I have been listening to your free class I cant remember when was the last time I learned so much about astrology in one day. Thank you for that.
I have a question tho. When you talked about your Ketu transit over your Moon you said that you felt like you didnt care at all about the world anymore. Can you tell me how would you describe an effect of natal Ketu with Moon. I'm asking that on behalf of my female friend. She has the combination in her rasi chart. She also doesnt have any other planets with or in 2nd and 12th form the Moon. Would you describe such a person as a cold heated ? Someone that cant love perhaps ? She often says she dosent want children. Would you say she can't care for her children or is it that she is just protecting her over sensitivity ? Do you know if there is a remedy for such a person. Does she need a remedy at all ? I read your article about ketu with Moon but its not very clear. Also I would like to say its a case of full moon in Sagittarius in 9th house from lagna.

I'm glad you are getting a lot from classes.
"Can you tell me how would you describe an effect of natal Ketu with Moon. I'm asking that on behalf of my female friend. She has the combination in her rasi chart. She also doesnt have any other planets with or in 2nd and 12th form the Moon. Would you describe such a person as a cold heated ?
not necessarily. What I have seen is the ketu/Moon conjunction shows that someone is emotionally punishing on themselves. Almost as if they feel as though they don't deserve a to be comforted psychologically. Ketu is a very strict influence. There may be sudden extreme moods as well. These are likely from past lives. There's a certain emotional discontent where they always see how their emotions limit their ultimate capacity, this leads to the self-punishing nature already described.
"Someone that cant love perhaps ?"
First you have to define "love" - as what most people call love is not really love anyway. A person with a K2/Moon conjunction may very well see through the sham of typical, human - desire based "love" and the connections others find so important in them. Romantic love may be less fulfilling.
"She often says she dosent want children. Would you say she can't care for her children or is it that she is just protecting her over sensitivity ?"
I think there are more possibilities than you mention here. Many things must be considered before something like this is concluded.
"Do you know if there is a remedy for such a person. Does she need a remedy at all ?"
I think you answered this yourself. For the most part, none of us need a remedy for anything if we understand who we truly are and can honor what we have come here to do. People seek remedies because they want to change external circumstances hoping it will change their internal reality. And in fact, certain remedial measures can give us better external results in life and also lead us toward greater truth internally.
I would not look at one thing such as this and say it needs to be "fixed", but in general it would not hurt to strengthen the moon with a remedy when the moon is join one of the nodes.
It's amazing how you are able to teach this information in a way that can be learned by anyone, Sam. Religion can be a touchy subject, when one is set in thinking/believing only one aspect of God can be true. My thoughts on Religion/Spirituality/Astrology are very similar to the ones you expressed in the free class. I'd also like to see Astrology as "the Divine Universe Itself" rather than a way to create fear in others and in ourselves, to look at a chart and see opportunities rather than seeing what we can avoid.
"If you want to experience the sublime beauty of the Moon, you need only look at
her and be bathed in her light. Yet too often we are looking at the fingers
pointing to the Moon, wondering why we have not been moved by her beauty.
Astrology systems are like fingers pointing to the Moon. They indicate where we need to look, and point the way to the goal. But they should not be confused
with the true source of power – the Universe itself." (P. 3-4 of Universal Astrology Prospectus)
--Wow. This really speaks to me. I remember before learning Astrology how in awe I felt by looking at the Moon. A lot of that beauty faded for me because I kept shifting my focus to learning new astrological methods. Sometimes I forget how inspiring the Moon can be.

Hi Beth,
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I have been very busy..
I am glad this has been speaking to you Beth. I have always been a little frustrated by how astorlogy is discussed - all of the projected limitations, fears, injustices, punishments onto the benevolent and unlimited totality of the Sacred mother above, below and everywhere.
Establishing this "Universal Astrology" formally is really just a way for me (and anyone else who feels empowered by it) to have a foothold in the astrology discussion on these terms. Typically when trying to convey these ideas to colleagues or friends - I have always been in reactive mode, reacting to one limiting assumption after another. Now I can just say - "read the "Universal Astrology Prospectus' ,then you'll get what I'm saying."
I have not been online very much these past few months and you have a lot going on.. I understand.
I want to expand on this a bit.. (just some thoughts for the forum)--
I love learning every thing about Astrological methods and techniques. Maybe that has been my downfall. It is nice to be able to learn and apply these methods to a chart and get interesting results. What is at the core of Astrology? That is more telling I would think. To be able to understand the Astrology within our selves would help us to become more fulfilled. Spirituality is very important to me, even though I do not feel Spiritual all the time. Astrology has always been a part of us. As long we acknowledge Astrology in a positive way and as a learning experience, we will grow. It is difficult to embrace what has been said in the past and move on. This might not be about Astrology, but about who we are. It is comfortable to continue in a way that we have been exposed to (even continuing on fear, for example).
Even with "Releasing the Serpent", I wanted to understand what is at the heart of opposites. There is a commonality between opposites. It is what makes opposites actually oppose. Maybe I am getting a little ahead of myself, but this is what has been on my mind..
